We had a very enjoyable whole-school occasion on May 22nd. Our Annual School Awards, Gradaim na Scoile, were presented in the Clayton Hotel, Cork. All students and teachers attended, as well as some parents. M\u00e1ire Bn. U\u00ed Bhriain, Chairperson of the Board of Management, was also with us. She presented her award, Gradam U\u00ed Bhriain, ‘An Tine Bheo’, to the group who most embodied the student spirit of Col\u00e1iste Daibh\u00e9id this year, the Under-19 Soccer Team. School Principal, Tadhg \u00d3 Laighin, this year presented Gradam Daibh\u00e9id, The Principal’s Award, to Leaving Certificate student Rowan Elliott. Deputy Principal, P\u00f3l \u00d3 S\u00edodhch\u00e1in, created a short film of the year’s highlights especially for the occasion. Our school musicians performed a nice mixture of songs under the direction of In\u00edon U\u00ed Bhriain. A list of all winners follows:<\/p>\n
