Congratulations from the whole school community to our ‘Laochra’ team who won the first ever ‘First Lego League’ to be held in Cork recently. 7 students from First and Second Year have been involved in the project under the supervision of Principal, M\u00e1istir \u00d3 Laighin with the final event being held in University College Cork before Christmas. They spent a number of months developing and programming a Lego robot to complete tasks in designated areas on a base. Having succeeded in getting everything to work on the day of the Cork Competition, they won it outright! They will now travel to Bristol in England from February 23rd-25th to compete in the International Competition in Bristol University! We wish them all well in their continuing endeavours!<\/p>\n
