Gradaim na Scoile 2018
Bhí ócáid uile-scoile an-taitneamhach againn ar an 22ú Bealtaine. Eagraíodh Gradaim na Scoile san Óstán Clayton i gCathair Chorcaí. D’fhreastal na daltaí agus múinteoirí ar fad, chomh maith le roinnt tuismitheoirí uirthi. Bhí Máire Bn. Uí Bhriain, Cathaoirleach an Bhord Bainistíochta i láthair freisin agus bhronn sí a duais fhéin, Gradam Uí Bhriain, ‘An Tine Bheo’ ar ghrúpa a léirigh an spriorad scoile is fearr le linn na bliana, an Fhoireann Sacair Fé 19. Táimid thar a bheith buíoch di as ucht an Ghradaim seo a bhunú. Bhronn an Príomhoide, Tadhg Ó Laighin, Gradam Daibhéid (Gradam an Phríomhoide) ar dhalta Ardteiste i mbliana, Rowan Elliot. Bhí gearrscannán breá d’imeachtaí na bliana déanta go speisialta ag an bPríomhoide Tánaisteach, Pól Ó Síodhcháin. Chuir ceoltóirí na scoile píosaí breátha fuinneamhacha le chéile, fé stiúr Iníon Uí Bhriain. Tá liosta na mbuaiteoirí ar fad thíos:
We had a very enjoyable whole-school occasion on May 22nd. Our Annual School Awards, Gradaim na Scoile, were presented in the Clayton Hotel, Cork. All students and teachers attended, as well as some parents. Máire Bn. Uí Bhriain, Chairperson of the Board of Management, was also with us. She presented her award, Gradam Uí Bhriain, ‘An Tine Bheo’, to the group who most embodied the student spirit of Coláiste Daibhéid this year, the Under-19 Soccer Team. School Principal, Tadhg Ó Laighin, this year presented Gradam Daibhéid, The Principal’s Award, to Leaving Certificate student Rowan Elliott. Deputy Principal, Pól Ó Síodhcháin, created a short film of the year’s highlights especially for the occasion. Our school musicians performed a nice mixture of songs under the direction of Iníon Uí Bhriain. A list of all winners follows:
